Slides from the Inaugral Research-Engaged Practice Meeting on 9th March, 2016

Posted on 13th May 2016

The first meeting of the Sheffield Institute of Education Research-Engaged Network was a great success - with lively discussions between practitioners and university researchers.

Charlotte Clowes talked about developing trials in the Aspirer Teaching School Alliance; Bernie Stiell and Jill Collins from the SIOE reported on an action research project being undertaken with schools in Sheffield to improve transition, Julie Dutton from Lydgate Junior School shared her research on developing fluency in mathematics; and Professor Cathy Burnett introduced an on-going research collaboration between schools and the SIOE developing 21st century literacies.
